WRTC 2026 Rescoring and Disqualification Report

Tuesday 1st September 2026

Since the conclusion of the onsite WRTC 2026 adjudication process at Wyboston, UK, on 13th July 2026, significant new information has become available, resulting in necessary further work by the Judging Committee. In order for the WRTC event to be reflective of the most accurate assessment of contesting conduct and ability, the Organising Committee and Sanctioning Committee agreed collectively to support this work and we hereby confirm the below updates. This report voids and replaces the previously announced results.

As has been the case since the beginning of the WRTC 2026 planning process, the Organising Committee has been very clear with what is and is not allowed, and this was published in the rules and addressed in Q&A and other comms. The rules were therefore expected to be studied and accepted by participants. Whilst we do not want this to divide relationships, the integrity of WRTC is of prime priority and in order to path its future in a positive light, it is our conclusion that these steps are absolutely necessary. We would like to express our appreciation for everyone’s patience as we have gone through this unprecedented experience and thank you for everyone’s support. I personally would like to extend immense thanks to the Judging Committee for their solid and thorough work and to give appreciation to the Organising Committee of 2026 and the Sanctioning Committee for upholding their role of dedication and collaboration.

Mark Haynes, M0DXR

Chairman, WRTC 2026 Organising Committee
